Teachers and Students Perception toward the Implementation of Lesson Study for Learning Community in the Framework of Lecturer Deployment

Abstract

This research attempts to investigate the teachers and students perception toward the implementation of lesson study for learning community in the framework of lecturer deployment. The current research is descriptive quantitative study involving 6 lecturers, 6 teachers and 38 students of Vocational High School Number 1 Kotabumi. Close-Ended Questionares were administered as the instruments to collect the data. Before using the instruments, the researcher measure the validity and reliability. In testing the validity the researcher used expert judgement validation, while reliability the researcher used Cronbach Alpha formula. To analyze the data, the researcher used SPSS.The findings reveal that both teachers and students have positive perceptions toward the implementation of lesson study for learning community in the framework of lecturer deployment. Therefore, it indicates that lecturer deployment program gives positive value for vocational high school students.
