Study of School Assignment Program As A Efforts to Improve Integrated Theme Learning Quality in The Second Class Primary School
Abstract
Improving the quality of learning for teachers should continue to be done. They must be given coaching or coaching with colleagues as well as with a tutor to design quality learning. The PDS Program (Assignment of Lecturers in Schools) is a model of teacher training to achieve quality learning in schools. Is a way to improve the quality of education that never ends. With PDS this can be implemented for teachers to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools. The purpose of writing this article is to describe a study of PDS. Between lecturers and teachers can give input to each other and improve the quality of learning that has so far been neglected. The activity was carried out for 8 times. The study data was obtained through several data collection tools in the form of learning videos, observation notes from elementary school teachers, and learning reflection journals. The results of the PDS implementation study show that the role of the lecturer is very much needed as an education expert in increasing the continuing professionalism of the teacher. The conclusion of the findings of the PDS study is that the PDS program is able to improve the quality of learning of students.
