Peningkatan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematika Peserta Didik Melalui Model Kooperatif Tipe Think Talk Write
Abstract
The aim of this study is to see the students' mathematical communication skills after applying cooperative model type Think-Talk-Write. This research is kind of Classroom Action Research. The subjects are students of class XI MIA 2 of the Laboratory High School of Universitas Negeri Padang. The instruments used in this research were written test, observations sheet and field notes. The action learning process is said to be successful if the observations results of the activities are good. The criteria for the success of mathematical communication skills are determined by a test, that is if at least 75% of all students have reached a value of ≥75. The results showed that the learning process and students' mathematical communication skills were good. The average score of students' mathematical communication skills is 73.87 and 75.86% completeness percentage. Based on this results, it can be concluded that the cooperative model type Think-Talk-Write can improve students' mathematical communication skills in class XI MIA 2 at the Laboratory High School of Universitas Negeri Padang
