Abstract

This article examines the development of a project-based learning model to be more effectively applied in junior high school level practical learning. Modification of the PjBL model consists of 3 main syntaks 1) the planning stage, 2) the implementation phase, and 3) the evaluation phase.In the implementation of modifying PjBL it will be more effective if the teacher sketches the design of the learning message and conducts guidance in stages on each practical project carried out in the learning, this is in accordance with the comparison of results in Cycle 1 and Cycle 2.The number of students who completed in cycle 1 were 26 students in cycle 2 as many as 51 students.While the average score of cycle 1 is 33 students with good qualificationsand 23 students were quite good.In the second cycle the value of the average score is very good, there are 17 students and there are 40 good qualifications.
