It was a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 38 students of class VIII-K. The study was located at SMPN 22 Surabaya. It had two cycles in which each cycle consisted of the planning, implementation, observation-evaluation, and reflection phases. Observation and tests were utilized to collect the data; whereas the data analysis was carried out using the descriptive techniques and descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the observation it revealed that in the implementation of the action research the teacher carried out learning activities in accordance with the learning improvement plan. Based on the results of the quantitative data analysis, it indicated that the average score of the students' news text writing ability showed an increase. In the initial phase the average score of the news text writing skills was 77.33 with the achievement of the minimum criteria of mastery learning (known as KKM) reached 68.42%. The first cycle average score was 84.98 with the KKM achievement of 78.95%; the second cycle average score was 87.76% with the achievement of KKM of 100%. This study aims to improve student motivation and learning outcomes in the basic training courses in mechanical engineering design by applying the Jigsaw model. This research is a Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted in July-September 2018 in class tenth of Vocational High School No.5 Padang. The number of students is 33 people. This study consisted of 4 cycles. Data was collected using observation sheets and tests. Based on the results of the observation, the average learning motivation in cycle 1 was 52.9%, cycle 2 was 64.5%, cycle 3 was 76.2, and cycle 4 was 86.3. In addition to student learning motivation, learning outcomes also experience a classical increase. In cycle 1 the classical average value was 52.3%, cycle 2 obtained the classical average value of 65.8, cycle 3 obtained the classical average value of 76.1, and cycle 4 obtained the classical average value of 85.9. Through the application of learning models halaqah in a classroom action research design for 2 cycles equivalent to 7 meetings in learning. Through a model student center halaqah approaches and teacher learning center integrated so active students and teachers into a single unit. The parcipants of this study were VIII2 grade student at SMPN 15 Kendari many as 22 people, in the final settlement of the study, at the end of the test is only attended by 21 students, for 1 student in sickness. The end of the test data shows the results of student learning or the ability to write explanation texts increased from an average value of 63.62 in the first cycle to 90.47% in the second cycle. The achievement of students in classical end was 80.95% greater than the KKM school by 75%. Student activity and liveliness teachers reached 95%. This study aims to reveal students' perceptions of the implementation of PDS programs held at the Padang State University Laboratory Development School in the 2018/2019 academic year. This type of research is descriptive research. The research instrument was in the form of questionnaires on students' perceptions of the implementation of PDS programs in their schools. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively. The subjects of the study were elementary school, junior high and high school students developing the UNP Laboratory who were targeted by the PDS program. The results of data analysis were obtained (1) The average value of perception of elementary school students was 84.4 with a very good category; (2) The average value of perceptions of junior high school students is 76.4 in the good category; (3) The average value of perceptions of high school students is 81.7 with a very good category. The average overall score is 80.8 with a very good category. For that reason, an action study was conducted. This study attempted to improve students’activeness and interest to learn mathematics through discovery learning model. The site of this study was SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Participant observation was conducted to gain the data of students’activeness and interest. There were two observers of this study. Students of Grade 9 SMP Pembangunan were as the subject of this study. In testing the validity the researcher used expert judgement validation, while reliability the researcher used Cronbach Alpha formula. To analyze the data, the researcher used SPSS.The findings reveal that both teachers and students have positive perceptions toward the implementation of lesson study for learning community in the framework of lecturer deployment. The instruments used were questionnaires in the form of validation sheets for Learning Implementation Plans, validation sheets for Student Worksheets, Teaching Material validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. This study uses descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. The results of the study are inquiry learning physics models using Magic Physics, Silent Fluid material for class X MIA SMA in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. The physics learning tools produced are Learning Implementation Plans, Student Worksheets and Teaching Materials. The results of the validation data analysis show that the Learning Implementation Plan developed is very valid with a percentage of 82.5%. Student Worksheets and teaching materials developed are very valid with a percentage of 92%. Having been given the opportunity to build partnership (kemitraan) between school teacher and university lecturer under the Universitas Negeri Padang PDS project (Lecturers Teaching at School), we decided to teach English that was not heavily steered by exam orientation. This is the way we believe we can enable the young people in our hands to relate their English education with their everyday lives and therefore, to make meaning of their English education. One of the ways we chose to reach the goal of our PDS project was by conducting a classroom action research through Jazz Chants methods employed by Carolyn Graham to teach English to non-native speakers in a fun way (2006). The sample of the research were the students of the VIII/C Class of SMP Pembangunan Padang. This research required students to watch over the samples of Jazz Chants being modelled by the teacher, after that the students were involved to try out the chants in unison, next the students were put in small groups and were asked to practice the chants and at the end the students came up with their own chants derived from the original texts. Due to the nature of the singing activity enforced in Jazz Chants, the students studied within a low-anxiety environment and thus, motivated them to try their best. The result shows that in the first cycle, 60% of the students were able to carry out the chants taught very well and remake the chants by themselves. In the second cycle there was an increase of 15% where 75% students were able to do the chants and remake the texts. Student’s understanding of the text are very lacking because the teacher does not convey the strategy how to understand the text. The scaffolding learning model can provide assistance individually based on the zone of proximal development (ZPD). The research subjects were the seventh of Surabaya 22 Junior High School class J which consists 34 students. The research begins with giving a pretest whose purpose is to plan the learning process. The pre-test results of students who achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) score of 70 from 34 people were only 5 people (30.40%). From the results of the pretest, it becomes the basis for preparing a learning implementation plan (RPP) of narrative (fable) text using the scaffolding learning model. In the first cycle, the implementation phase of the researcher applied the scaffolding learning model, namely: pre-reading, whilst-reading, and post-reading. The next step is observation. At this stage, the researcher as a teacher who applies the model in the teaching and learning process, collaborators are needed to help observe the teacher's activities. After the teaching and learning process is complete, an evaluation is conducted to find out the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle. The last stage is reflection, the results are obtained: 1) the application of the scaffolding learning model in reading learning, students work in work in pairs. 2) Learning outcomes that can reach the KKM score are only 40.76% so the second cycle needs to be done because it has not reached 60% which can reach the KKM score. In the second cycle, the implementation of the model was different, namely the students worked individually. The learning outcomes of students who could reach KKM became 70.82%, there was an increase from the results of the first cycle. The conclusions of classroom action research are: 1) Scaffolding learning model in reading learning helps students to understand the text starting from pre-reading with activities starting from: how to read text with correct pronunciation, find keywords starting from reading skimming texts and scanning, until students fully understand the contents of the text. In addition, this study aims to improve the learning outcomes of transaction source analysis. To achieve this goal the author applies the Inquiry learning model with the 5 M approach, namely the scientific approach through student activities by observing, asking, gathering information, associating and trying, or drawing conclusions from the activity. Data collection is done by making an observation sheet, which contains of 5 M, from the results of observations processed to see the activity of students in learning, processing is done by tabulating data to see the numbers of students were observed, asked questions, gathered information, associated, and drew a conclusion. Test instruments were carried out before learning and after that related to the source of the transactionto see the improvement in learning outcomes The test results are processed through percentage calculation. There were 36 students of SMK Muhammadiyah 04 Belawan taken as samples. From the results of the study, all the samples were categorized active in observation activities; 12 students or 33.33% were active in asking the questions, 30 students or 83.33% were active in gathering information, 13 students or 36.61% were active in communication and 10 students or 27.78% were active in trying to make a conclusion. Besides the activity of the students, the result of the study was found based on the test. In pre-test, it was found that there were 30 students (83.33%) who obtained 41-60, meanwhile there were 6 students (16.67%) who obtained 21-40. The nature of science learning requires the existence of student activities in finding concepts and principles of science / physics. This study aims to see an increase in student learning activities in the effort to discover the concepts and principles of physics after the application of discovery learning models. The research method used is classroom action research with 3 cycles to see an increase in student learning activities. Each cycle consists of 4 stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The instrument used was activity questionnaire and learning outcome test. The instrument is also equipped with reflection journals from program of Lecturer Assignment at School (LAS). Activity data were analyzed by percentage techniques, and reflection journals were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study showed that learning activities in each cycle increased. Likewise, student learning outcomes that are given each cycle also increase. It can be concluded that through the LAS program, student learning activities in the discovery of physical concepts and principles can be improved for the better. The design of this classroom action research uses was the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four steps, namely: plan, action, observing, and reflect. The lesson material presented during cycle 1 is the structure and function of cells, and in cycle 2 are various bioprocesses in cells. The steps of the Discovery Learning model that are carried out are as follows: (1) giving stimulus (stimulation), (2) identifying problems (problem statements), (3) data collection (data collection), (4) processing data (data processing) , and (5) verify. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA2 SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Padang, which numbered 30 people. The study was conducted in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of learning through discovery learning models as well as increasing interest in learning Sociology of students in class XI IPS 4. This research is a classroom action research with a total of 27 students and conducted in class XI IPS 4. The results of this study shows that there is an increase in interest in the Sociology learning process. This is evidenced by the average percentage in the first cycle of 55.39% and increased in the second cycle of 74.95% so that it can be concluded that through the discovery learning model students' interest in learning Sociology can increase. This is due to the steps in this discovery learning model that can provide stimuli to students so that they can activate their cognitive aspects, which then gives students the desire to work together to explore various phenomena in relation to the material being taught. Students are left to find themselves and experience their own mental processes, the teacher functions as a guide and gives instructions. The subject of this study was class X-2 of SMA Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan with 26 total of students that consisting of 12 men and 14 women. And the object in this study was students 'critical thinking skills and observations of students' activities on the redox reaction material through the application of Think Pair Share (TPS) Learning Model in class X2 of SMA Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan. From the data analysis, it shows that the evaluation results for the students' critical thinking ability test in the first cycle obtained a percentage of completeness of 50% and for the second cycle the percentage of completeness was 84.61%. This is evident from the students' reading ability that is 66.23% of 26 students who have not been able to achieve the defined KKM, which is 80. The causes of learning problems in understanding reading content of students teachers have not used appropriate reading learning techniques. This study aims to describe the application of scanning techniques to improve the ability to understand student reading content. This study uses a classroom action research design in collaboration with the teacher which is carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were teachers and students. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and field notes. The results of the study show that the implementation of teacher activities during the implementation of the first cycle and second cycle learning process receives a percentage of 100% implementation. Meanwhile, the achievement scores of teacher activities in the first cycle were 80.11 and 89.53 in the second cycle. Program PDS/Diployment ini diterapkan di kelas X IIS 1 dengan jumlah siswa 34 orang. Guru Geografi bertindak sebagai observer pembelajaran. Data refleksi pembelajaran dikumpulkan dengan, 1) catatan harian, 2) jurnal refleksi pembelajaran, 3) lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa dan 4) dokumentasi video dan foto. Untuk mendapatkan bahan refleksi yang lebih konkrit, penulis merangkum data pembelajaran dalam satu pola refleksi yang disebut dengan “three ways conference” dengan rumus 3-2-1. Pada setiap pertemuan, observer merumuskan tiga hal positif yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran, lalu dua hal negatif yang terjadi serta satu saran untuk perbaikan. Hasil refleksi pembelajaran mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat tiga hal positif setelah pelaksanaan program diployment ini yaitu, 1) guru mendapat pengalaman nyata dari dosen tentang pemilihan model, strategi, metode dan teknik serta media pembelajaran yang efektif dan sesuai dengan karakteristik materi dan siswa, 2) dosen memperoleh data tentang kondisi ril pembelajaran di kelas seperti karakteristik siswa, hambatanhambatan belajar siswa serta upaya mengatasinya serta pengalaman merasakan “rutinitas” guru di sekolah, 3) terbinanya kolaborasi antara dosen dan guru dalam merancang, melaksanakan, menilai serta merefleksi pembelajaran secara bersama. The study population included the thesis of physical education students a FMIPA UNP in 2014-2017. The homogen sample used to obtain the sample. Samples are 10 theses which discuss the influence of teaching materials on student competencies. The results of this study indicate that (1) background of research problems: problems raised in the thesis influence of teaching materials on student competencies in 2014-2017, namely (a) students are less active in learning (60%), (b) use of strategies, models, approaches that are less varied (60%), (c) teaching materials used are not optimal (40%). (2) Overcoming the problem: (a) integrating learning with character values and MSTBK (80%), (b) using Strategy, models and approaches (80%). (3) All research theses have followed existing procedures. This research is motivated by the low activity of students in science learning activities in class IX D SMP Pembangunan LaboratoriumUNP. Through the implementation of guided inquiry learning models, it is expected that there will be an increase in student activities in science learning. This research is in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 28 objects in class IX D. The study consisted of 2 cycles, each of which consisted of 3 meetings. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student activities in science learning. This is evidenced by the average percentage of student activity values in the first cycle of 45.51% and increased to 75, 87% in cycle two. Increased student activity occurs because all the syntax of guided inquiry learning involves students to be active in learning. This study uses meta-analysis. Meta analysis is a studyof a number of research results in similar problems. This study aims to analyze the effect of Student Worksheet on student learning outcomes. The method of this research is a meta-analysis with a sample of 10 thesis students of physics at FMIPA UNP. The type of research used in this study is survey research. The type of survey used is descriptive. The population in this study was the thesis of students of physics education at FMIPA UNP in 2014-2017. The procedure in this study was adjusted to the steps of conducting a meta-analysis suggested by David B. Wilson and GeorgeA. Kelley. The meta-analysis study showed that the effect of student worksheet on the physics skills of the subject level of education, learning materials, and models was used. This study shows that PBL has a high influence on problem solving skills. The results of this study indicate that the problem that is often raised is the low competency of students as many as 10 theses. The problem is about the lack of interest in the learning process for students. The use of media that is still rare such as worksheet makes students less active in learning. To achieve this, the learning process of the Electric Motor Installation cannot be done only with conventional learning models, namely the lecture and question and answer method for the delivery of material and then proceed with the students carrying out the practice based on the images and instructions given by the teacher during the learning process. For this reason, class action research (action research) is conducted which aims to improve students' cognitive competences by applying Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning models in the learning process of Electric Motor Installation in students class XI. The results of this study indicate that in the cognitive domain of cycle 1 there has been an increased student learning outcomes when compared with learning outcomes with the previous learning model, the completeness of the students' classical achievement of the KKM is 60%. The object of this study is the model of Problem Based Learning in improving the students' mathematics learning outcomes with the subject of the circle. Data analysis technique in this research is Classroom Action Research. The instrument of this research is about test, observation sheet for student activity, teacher ability to manage learning, and student response. From the result of the research which has been done, obtained the improvement of learning mastery from the result of student evaluation classically with the initial condition (36%) complete, while (64%) unfinished later by using Problem Based Learning model in cycle I (66%) which is complete, while 10 students (34%) has not been completed, cycle II progressively increased to 27 students (90%) thoroughly. Obtained by increasing of percentage of student activity in cycle I equal to 56%, cycle II equal to 79%. The percentage improvement of teachers' ability to manage learning in cycle I is 72%, second cycle is 87%. The percentage of student response in cycle I was increased by 64%, second cycle was 85%. This study aims to increase student activity in chemistry learning at Senior High School of Pembangunan UNP. This classroom action research consists of three cycles which was done in eight meetings. The learning process used discovery learning and guided discovery learning models. Sample of this study consisted of 31 students at class XI MIPA which was selected randomly. The research instrument was observation sheet of student activities and the data were analyzed by percentage technique. Student activities which was observed consist of 12 items, namely (1) formulating problems, (2) formulating hypotheses, (3) collecting data, (4) answering the questions, (5) giving opinions/asking questions, (6) giving respond, (7) cooperating in groups, (8) help friends who have difficulties in learning, (9) proving the truth of the hypothesis, (10) writing conclusions, (11) ) presenting conclusions, and (12) doing homework. In the first, second, and third cycles, the average percentage of student activity was 58.5% in the medium category; 73.3% in the high category; and 81.7% in the very high category. Research findings indicate that the learning process used guided discovery learning models through the PDS program could increase student activity in chemistry learning at Senior High School of Pembangunan UNP. The increase in physics learning outcomes on the average cycle 1 is 84.17 and the average cycle 2 is 87.08; The gaintest value obtained is 0.37 with the medium category.
